Technical innovations and improvements

Additional alarm plan functions

When triggering an alarm plan via app content, it is now possible to supplement the predefined message content with ad hoc text input. It is also possible to require confirmation of the triggering of an alarm plan by means of a numerical code. This minimises the risk of unwanted alarm triggering, especially in the case of critical alarms.

New user status "invalid"

If a registered user changes their email address or mobile number, they will lose personalised access to the emergency app for security reasons.
In this case, their user status will automatically change from "Content synchronised" or "Content out of date" to "Invalid".
The person concerned will immediately receive a text message or email with a new registration link.
The Admin Web can be filtered according to this new user status and the persons concerned can be contacted directly if necessary.

Further innovations

Prevention of false alarms: If a third-party system (e.g. a fire alarm system) triggers an alarm, this third-party system may send a flood of messages within a short period of time. Such false alarms can now be prevented in the e-mergency alarm server.
CSV export extension: When exporting users from the Admin Web, it is now also possible to export a person's location and crisis team affiliations.
Expansion of Admin Web (formerly Webcockpit): Numerous components have been replaced and renewed in the background over the past few months. This groundwork enables us to make the entire system easier to manage and more modern in terms of system architecture. Building on this, a number of exciting features will be added in the coming months.

Personnel change: Our Sales & Customer Success Manager Marco Nicoli left e-mergency AG on 31 August 2025 to pursue a new career path. We would like to thank Marco for his dedication to e-mergency over the past two years and wish him all the best for the future.
Nicolas Suter succeeded Marco on 1 September 2025 and, after successfully completing his training with the team, is now taking over Marco's clients. Nicolas has quickly integrated into the team and we are delighted to be able to continue writing the success story of e-mergency together with him.
